📋 Email and other notifications

The settings for the SMTP server are made in the configuration in the Email and other notifications section:

Settings

Notification subject prefix

This is the text that is written at the beginning of the subject line of every email sent from the FTAPI server.

Email filter

This option can be used to set up an individual exception rule for the spam filter, as emails could otherwise be lost. 

Sender email address

The sender address that should appear in the email for system notifications.

This does not have to match the SMTP username or even exist at all.

Sender name

The name of the sender that should appear in the email for system notifications.

This can be any name and does not have to match the SMTP username.
