New

  • FTAPI SecuRooms: The preview function for files in end-to-end encrypted data rooms is now available.
  • FTAPI platform:
    • Similar to brute force protection, a workflow has been introduced for the 'Account verification via email' add-on where (1) user accounts are locked after multiple incorrect entries of the verification code and (2) the admin and the user are notified via email.
    • The 'Account verification via email' add-on is now a dominant setting, regardless of the group hierarchy.

Fixed

  • FTAPI platform: Brute force protection now triggers only after the specified number of failed attempts and not after just 2 failed login attempts.
  • FTAPI platform: The delivery report scales again, and the duration of report generation has been drastically reduced.
  • FTAPI platform: A malfunction with Single-Sign-On via Kerberos has been fixed.
  • FTAPI platform: In the new MS Teams app, there was an error when integrating FTAPI via a website. The error has been fixed by Microsoft.
  • FTAPI SecuMails: The download confirmation (= email notification to the sender) now contains the date and time stamp for the download instead of the dispatch date.
  • FTAPI SecuMails: In FTAPI deliveries, an error occurred if the message text contained the string "<br" (e.g.<bryan@example.com>).
  • FTAPI SecuMails: For users not yet registered in the system, the login disclaimer - if activated - was not displayed after successful registration (error pattern in deliveries with security level 2).
  • FTAPI SecuMails: In FTAPI deliveries for which no expiration date was set, an incorrect expiration date was displayed.
  • FTAPI SecuMails: Further system notifications have been adapted to the new design.
  • FTAPI SecuForms: The configuration of existing forms is now possible again.

Information about the update
FTAPI cloud customers do not need to take any further action; the update is performed automatically. Customers can receive detailed information about the maintenance window via status.ftapi.com.
