FTAPI Version 4.58.0

The December release offers more flexibility for folder uploads in SecuRooms.

Published on 12/08/2025.

New

SecuRooms

New upload option for folders in SecuRooms: Folders can now be uploaded to a SecuRoom not only via drag & drop, but also directly via the upload button.

Improved

SecuMails

  • FTAPI Trust Networks: If you have used an API key to set up a connection, a new API key is automatically generated for setting up further connections. Should you accidentally attempt to reuse an already used API key, you will receive an error message. Learn more about configuration.
  • SAML users from groups for which account verification is enabled can log in again as usual.
  • The reliability when downloading very large deliveries (over 100 GB) has been significantly increased.
  • When users send a level 4 delivery on the sending page and create a SecuPass for it, FTAPI displays the requirements for the SecuPass (e.g., required characters). Users can only save and activate the SecuPass if it meets the requirements.
  • When users want to activate their SecuPass in the settings, they are directed to the activation section via the “Activate SecuPass!” button.

SecuRooms

As long as the upload queue window is open while uploading multiple files to a SecuRoom, your session will not expire. The upload of all files will be completed before the session is terminated.

Administration

  • When a SAML user receives a delivery, FTAPI correctly redirects them to SecuMails after successful authentication.
  • The brute force notification is reliably sent to all stored recipients.

FTAPI cloud customers do not need to take any further action; the update was performed automatically. You can find detailed information about the maintenance window at status.ftapi.com.
