π Delivery: Configuring automatic cleanup globally and per group
πConfiguring automatic delivery cleanup
The automatic deletion of expired deliveries is an important process to keep the system clean and performant. As an administrator, you can configure this process globally as well as at the group level.
Global activation & configuration
Delivery cleanup must first be activated globally under Administration > System > Cleanup policies. The interval for the cleanup can also be set here via a cron command.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Activate storage cleanup | Activates automatic delivery cleanup system-wide |
| Cron interval | Defines how frequently the cleanup process is executed |
| Paused/Failed uploads | Separate rules for incomplete transfers |
Important: Global activation is a prerequisite for all further cleanup settings at the group level.
Settings at the group level
In addition to the global setting, cleanup policies can be adjusted in detail at the group level. To do this, navigate to Administration > Groups > [Select group] > Cleanup.
In this area, you can define:
- After how many days deliveries for members of this group should be deleted
- Whether users can individually configure the validity period per delivery
- Special rules for paused or failed uploads
- Notification settings before automatic cleanup
Monitoring and logging
Via the Deliveries > Download Report, administrators can retrieve detailed information about performed cleanups. These logs contain information about deleted deliveries, their original validity period, the time of cleanup, and the storage space freed up.
