FTAPI Version 4.51.0

This update introduces new features and improvements for SecuMails, SecuForms, and SecuRooms to enhance user experience and system efficiency.

New

  • SecuMails: The new "FTAPI Trust Networks" configuration is currently in a controlled rollout for selected customers, enabling secure communication between multiple FTAPI systems for the cross-organizational exchange of sensitive data. Learn more.
  • SecuMails: In the new web interface, the "Recipient" field for SecuMails and SubmitBox now supports autocomplete, allowing users to select recipients faster and with fewer errors.
  • SecuForms: When managing online forms (SecuForms), the user session now remains permanently active, ensuring that longer editing processes are no longer interrupted by an automatic session timeout.

Fixed

  • SecuMails: First-time recipients of end-to-end encrypted deliveries are now supported by improved user guidance when setting their SecuPass, making the onboarding process significantly more intuitive and seamless.
  • SecuMails: When accessing the old login page, users are now automatically redirected to the new login page, preventing 404 error messages and ensuring smooth access.
  • SecuMails: The download process—especially for large files—is now more transparent: users receive an in-app notification upon start, a progress indicator during the download, and a final confirmation of success or error, allowing them to track the process at any time.
  • SecuMails: If there are no deliveries to be released, users will receive a corresponding error message.
  • SecuMails & SubmitBox: Email addresses entered in the recipient field are now automatically recognized—without the need for additional confirmation via mouse click or tab key—speeding up the sending process and making operation more intuitive.
  • SecuRooms: In data rooms, the file upload time is now correctly displayed in the user's local time in both the data room view and the side panel, improving traceability and transparency in file management.
  • Platform: Virus scanning of 0-byte files no longer results in an error message.

FTAPI Cloud customers do not need to take any action; the update is performed automatically. Customers can find detailed information about the maintenance window at status.ftapi.com.
