SecuMails

• Traceability for deliveries via the FTAPI Trust Network: Deliveries via FTAPI Trust Networks receive a dedicated transfer confirmation in the sender's activity log. This documents successful delivery to the recipient, ensuring seamless traceability.
• More transparency through the status display: When downloading deliveries from the inbox/outbox, the progress is now also displayed in loaded bytes (e.g., 10 MB / 1 GB). Additionally, the status "Decrypting" is now displayed when the download is complete but the system is still waiting for the decryption process to finish.
• SubmitBox notifications in the user's language: As soon as FTAPI detects a new user's language, for example via the browser language, the user is guided through the steps in the SubmitBox in that language. The initial notification remains in the server language defined by the admin; for existing users, the language stored in the user profile is taken into account. 

SecuRooms

• Faster file management with the new Context Panel (formerly Detail Panel): The previous detail panel has been completely redesigned and is now called the Context Panel. It offers a clear structure where information about folders, files, and data rooms, as well as activities and access history, are visible at a glance. This increases transparency and speeds up file management. 
   

Platform

• FTAPI compatible with MySQL 8.4: MySQL 8.0 reaches its End of Life (EOL) in April 2026. FTAPI is now compatible with MySQL 8.4, which will be supported until April 2032. Cloud customers are upgraded automatically; we recommend our OnPremise customers upgrade to MySQL 8.4 promptly. The MySQL upgrade is independent of FTAPI. Please follow the guide provided by Oracle.

Improved

SubmitBox 

• If the virus scanner detects a virus in a SubmitBox delivery, the delivery is no longer incorrectly marked as "Downloaded", but correctly as "not downloadable". 
• Deliveries from deleted users that were received via a SubmitBox are now still displayed in the user interface.

SecuMails

• When you discard changes to the administration settings, the message "Successfully saved" no longer appears incorrectly.

FTAPI Cloud customers do not need to take any action; the update was performed automatically. You can find detailed information about maintenance windows at any time via status.ftapi.com.
