FTAPI Version 4.56.0

The mandatory deletion period for data rooms is here, and the recycle bin can now also be deactivated.

New

SecuRooms

  • Mandatory deletion period for data rooms can now be set centrally: A mandatory deletion period for all data rooms can now be set in the administration. You can find out here how this affects existing and new data rooms and what happens when you remove the mandatory deletion period.
  • Deactivate recycle bin: If you do not wish to work with the recycle bin, for example to save storage space, you can now simply deactivate it in the SecuRooms settings. Please note: If you deactivate the recycle bin, all data contained within it will be deleted immediately. You can find all important information about the recycle bin here.

⚠️We recommend working with the recycle bin, as it protects you against data loss. If you deactivate the recycle bin, data will always be deleted immediately and irrevocably. To save storage space, you can also empty the recycle bin at any time.

SecuMails

Users can see directly if and for how long links are still valid: In the email notifications for

  • Registrations
  • Download of deliveries

  • SubmitBox submissions

it is now indicated how long a link is valid:

Improved

SecuRooms

Large amounts of data can be uploaded without any problems: Regardless of how many files you upload at the same time, the web interface no longer freezes even with over 10,000 files.

SecuForms

The error where a SecuForm could be submitted without specifying mandatory radio button fields has been fixed.

Administration

  • Activating the address book now works independently of the number of groups.
  • When activating the "Force new password" function, users are now correctly redirected upon their next login and can set a new password.

FTAPI cloud customers do not need to take any further action; the update took place automatically. You can obtain detailed information about the maintenance window via status.ftapi.com.
