FTAPI Version 4.64.0

Released on 05/13/2026.

New

SecuRooms

  • Failed transfers in the up/download window are displayed first: In the transfer window, failed transfers are sorted to the top, followed by active transfers and then the rest in alphabetical order. Errors with individual files are thus immediately visible without having to scroll through the list.
  • Note on restricted access in end-to-end encrypted data rooms: If a user does not have a SecuPass for all contents of an encrypted data room, a note now appears stating that parts of the data room are not visible to them. This prevents users from mistaking restricted access for a technical error.

Platform

  • Country code when registering mobile numbers for two-factor authentication: When setting up SMS-based two-factor authentication, the country code can be set via a selection menu. The customer's country code is pre-selected and displayed as a non-editable prefix in the number field.

Improved

SecuMail

  • E-mail addresses are automatically cleaned of spaces when pasted: If multiple addresses are copied into the recipient field of a SecuMail, the system automatically removes leading and trailing spaces. Failed deliveries due to unnoticed spaces in copied address lists are thus eliminated.
  • SecuPass can only be set once for a delivery: Setting the SecuPass multiple times for the same delivery could lead to inconsistent data records. After the first successful setting, the process is correctly completed; further attempts are rejected.

SubmitBox

  • Logo in the e-mail input field of the SubmitBox is correctly aligned: The logo in the e-mail field is now centered.

SecuForms

  • Layout settings in SecuForms are saved correctly: The button color and background image in the layout settings of a SecuForm are now saved correctly and displayed in the preview. Both settings are thus fully configurable via the user interface.

Platform

  • SSO login button appears in the configured primary color: The button for the SSO login is displayed in the primary color configured for the customer. This improves visibility on the login page, especially if SSO is the preferred login method.
  • Clear feedback when a SecuPass share link has already been used: If a SecuPass share link is accessed again, an understandable error message now appears. Recipients know immediately that the link is no longer valid.
  • The browser's saved login password is no longer applied to delivery fields: The password field for password-protected deliveries no longer triggers automatic completion by the browser. Recipients enter the delivery password manually; this prevents the login password from being accidentally applied.
  • Expired password-protected deliveries display the download status correctly: For expired deliveries of protection class "Level 1 with password", the download button is now correctly deactivated. Recipients receive clear feedback that the delivery is no longer available.

🆕Intelligent E-Mail Encryption (IEE) with FTAPI

What is it about? Intelligent E-Mail Encryption integrates FTAPI directly into the existing mail flow. Every outgoing e-mail is automatically checked based on centrally stored rules and compliance policies and encrypted with the appropriate method, without the sender having to decide which protection applies to which message. Learn more.

Prerequisite: The policies set within the framework of Intelligent E-Mail Encryption only apply to e-mails sent via the combination of mail client and configured Ciphermail Gateway. SecuMails created directly via the SecuTransfer web UI are not affected by the rules. There, the sender continues to select the security level manually.

If you are interested in the integration in your organization, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

First feature in version 4.64.0: Configurable filter rules via the administration interface
The filter rules for Intelligent E-Mail Encryption can now be set up directly in the SecuTransfer administration interface. Available criteria are: attachment present, sender domain, sender host, subject line, and file size. Configuration is done without intervention in configuration files. A detailed guide including examples can be found here.
