New FTAPI version in February 2024.

New

  • FTAPI SecuMails: Very large files up to 100 GB can now be sent via the FTAPI web interface. The desktop client is therefore no longer necessary to send and receive large files with FTAPI in the browser.
  • FTAPI platform: For the "Two-Factor Authentication" add-on, there is now also the option to perform verification via email. Learn more.
  • FTAPI SecuMails: The download page for security level 2 is now in a new, CI-compliant design. Learn more.

Fixed

  • FTAPI add-on: The login button for Single-Sign-On via Kerberos is displayed correctly again.
  • FTAPI SecuMails: With a globally activated download disclaimer, there was an incorrect redirect on the download page (security level 1 & 2).
  • FTAPI SecuMails: Error messages for failed logins have been optimized.
  • FTAPI SecuMails: Messages/files sent with FTAPI security level 2 or higher to unregistered users contained an incorrect redirect. This has been fixed; recipients now land directly in the registration process again.
  • FTAPI SecuMails: For messages/files sent with FTAPI, an error occurred if the string "<br" (e.g.<bryan@example.com>) was contained in the message text.

Security

  • Apache Tomcat has been upgraded to the latest version 9.0.85.
  • Java Runtime has been upgraded to version 17.0.10.
  • Cipher "TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA384" has been removed from the FTAPI configuration.

Update information

FTAPI cloud customers do not need to take any further action. The update takes place automatically. Customers can receive detailed information about the maintenance window via status.ftapi.com.
