Email delivery: Sender of delivery notifications

The sender address for outgoing delivery notifications can be customized.

Standard configuration

  • Deliveries made via the FTAPI Outlook-Add-in are sent from your own mail server. After sending, the delivery is displayed in the SecuMails outbox.
  • Deliveries made via the WebUI are sent via the SMTP-Relay configured on the FTAPI server.
  • The FTAPI server specifies the user's email address as the sender address.

When using strict email policies, this can lead to the message being filtered as spam.
