• Markdown files can be previewed directly in SecuRooms: .md files are now displayed in the browser without needing to download them.

Platform

• User cleanup protects accounts with open deliveries: User accounts with uncollected deliveries now remain active until the delivery has expired. This ensures recipients can always fully retrieve their deliveries.
• SAML login with username in email format works reliably: If the SAML username is provided in email format and differs from the actual email address, the login now works as expected.
• Verification code via email can be copied without errors: The code in group configuration verification emails no longer contains a trailing space. Copying via double-click now works directly.
• SMS two-factor authentication with revised input screen: The input mask for the SMS verification code has been redesigned and now supports auto-fill, allowing the code to be automatically retrieved from the SMS.
• MIME type for .xlsm files can be saved in the whitelist: Admins can now add the MIME type for macro-enabled Excel files to the list of allowed file types without errors.

SecuRooms

• "Leave data room" action with consistent labeling: The button and dialog for leaving a data room now use consistent terms in all languages. In German, the action is called "austreten", and in French, "salle de données" is now used correctly.

SecuMail / SubmitBox

• SubmitBox processes files with commas in the filename: Files whose names contain a comma are now reliably processed and uploaded.
• Parallel web downloads run reliably: Multiple files can be downloaded simultaneously via web download without errors occurring.
• Sender and recipient of a message are displayed correctly: The display of sender and recipient in the message view is now correct again.

FTAPI cloud customers do not need to take any further action; the update was performed automatically. You can find detailed information about the maintenance window at status.ftapi.com.

Information on on-premises

ℹ️ Version 4.65.0 will not be released for on-premises use due to internal organizational reasons.

Why are the cloud and on-premises versions different? In the cloud, we can roll out features much faster. For on-premises, we bundle new features into larger packages. When cloud versions are released in quick succession, we omit interim releases for On-Premises to keep your update workload to a minimum.

The next On-Premises version is expected to be released in calendar week 26. We will notify you by email as soon as the version is available for download.
