New navigation design in Administration & Reports and even more possibilities with the Recycle Bin.

New

SecuRooms

Now also delete & restore data rooms: An upgrade for the new Recycle Bin that protects against data loss – from now on, entire data rooms can be deleted and restored via the Recycle Bin within 30 days. During this period, the deleted data continues to occupy your storage quota. Learn more.
Please note: The new function applies to deletions in SecuRooms. Data rooms deleted via the data room management in the Administration are deleted irrevocably and cannot be restored via the Recycle Bin.

SecuMails

Reply directly even without attachments: Previously, the reply button on download pages was only visible if attachments were present. Users had to navigate to the inbox to reply. From now on, users can reply directly from the download page, provided they are logged in and have permission to send deliveries.

Administration & Reports
 

  • New design for the navigation of Reports & Administration: The menu navigation in Reports & Administration has a new design. In the Administration area, you can now also access the Recycle Bin directly from the navigation.
  • The user report now contains the "Company" field: The field can be filled out globally via user configuration or by users themselves in the settings and used for billing.
  • Accessibility in the "non-text content" category for SecuMails, the login area, and SecuPass has been optimized.

SecuMails
 

  • Fixed download error in Safari: Files sent in stages 1 & 2 can be downloaded via Safari as usual again.
  • Retrieve data with a renewed SecuPass: End-to-end encrypted data could not be retrieved with a recently reset SecuPass – this now works as expected again.
  • The download filter is filtering again: In the web view, the "Not downloaded" filter now works again for sent deliveries.
  • Redirect from SubmitBox: The redirect URL in global SubmitBox forms now works just like in regular SecuForms. After submitting, the success message is displayed with a button that redirects the user.


SecuForms
 

  • Display deleted files as faulty in the Explorer: If you have a link to a deleted file, you will now be notified that it is a faulty file when attempting to download it. The content of the file cannot be viewed. 
  • No encrypted data rooms without SecuPass: End-to-end encrypted data rooms can only be created by users who have a SecuPass. 


Administration 

Faulty link removed when resetting SecuPass: The user is now correctly guided through the process for resetting the SecuPass.

Update information

FTAPI cloud customers do not need to take any action; the update happens automatically. Customers can find detailed information about the maintenance window at  status.ftapi.com.
