FTAPI Version 4.41.1

Release notes for FTAPI version 4.41.1.

New

  • FTAPI platform: Users now have the option to change their SecuPass directly in the browser. This makes the entire FTAPI user account management and all FTAPI products accessible via the browser. 
  • FTAPI premium virus scanner: File uploads can now be restricted system-wide to previously defined file types. In addition, all files are checked for their MIME-Types before upload to ensure that there is no manipulation of file formats. Learn more.
  • FTAPI SecuRooms: Files in a data room can now not only be opened individually for preview in the browser, but also as a slideshow, which allows for more comfortable and efficient viewing of multiple files.
  • FTAPI platform: The outdated templates under the "Email" configuration have been removed from the administration, which ensures clearer management.
  • FTAPI SecuRooms: It is now traceable in the activity log when the retention rule for a data room has been changed or deleted, which improves transparency and traceability.

Fixed

  • FTAPI SecuRooms: The issue where the member status of users in the access panel was not displayed correctly when they registered via self-registration has now been fixed.
  • FTAPI SubmitBox: The SubmitBox name now contains line breaks for the correct display of long names.
  • FTAPI SecuMails: Sending new deliveries without attachments is now also prevented in the new design if this is stored in the configuration.
  • FTAPI platform: For SAML and LDAP users, a notification is now displayed asking them to contact their administrator if they attempt to perform the “Reset password” action.
  • FTAPI platform: The performance of the delivery report has been improved so that the report now loads faster and more efficiently.
  • FTAPI platform: For customer systems that included the standard port in the base URL, there are no longer any issues with redirects after login.
  • FTAPI SecuForms: All forms are now displayed in the overview list instead of only the first 10.

 

Update information
FTAPI cloud customers do not need to take any further action; the update is performed automatically. Customers can receive detailed information about the maintenance window via status.ftapi.com.
