FTAPI Version 4.63.1

Released on 04/15/2026.

New

SecuRooms

  • Folder sharing now also in encrypted data rooms: Folders in E2EE data rooms can now be shared selectively without having to share the entire data room, naturally protected by SecuPass technology. If a user invited to the folder does not yet have a SecuPass, they will be automatically guided through the setup upon their first access, just as they are used to when being invited to an E2EE data room. This allows you to control permissions granularly at the folder level in E2EE data rooms as well.
  • Navigate faster with optimized buttons
As part of our ongoing redesign, we have further simplified the interface in SecuRooms. For example, uploading files and folders, as well as creating new folders, are now bundled under the New button. Additionally, related actions in the context menu are visually grouped so that you can find exactly what you are looking for immediately.
The same applies to access management: permission control for data room members is now bundled in one place under the Manage access button.

Platform

  • Roll out SMS-based 2FA via self-service now: SMS-based two-factor authentication can now be activated organization-wide without admins having to enter mobile numbers in advance: users will be automatically prompted to enter their number once themselves at their next login – no more manual imports or IT effort required.

Improved

SubmitBox

  • Optimized view during the upload process: When uploading files via the SubmitBox, it is now immediately visible after clicking that the upload is in progress. The file selection dialog closes, the button and upload field are deactivated, and the upload progress appears. This makes it immediately clear that the transfer has started and that no further files can be added in the meantime.

SecuRooms

  • License limit warnings now reach the right people: The warning for exceeding user licenses is displayed exclusively to administrators, i.e., the people who need to take action.
  • Role-based configuration view ensures better clarity: Configuration options for data rooms are now only visible to users who have the appropriate role for configuration. Everyone else sees only the functions that are relevant to them.
