FTAPI Version 4.37.0

This release introduces new features for SecuRooms, enhancements to the user reporting and 2FA processes, and several bug fixes across the FTAPI platform.

New

  • FTAPI SecuRooms: All events in all data rooms can now be viewed centrally via the new 'Activity Log' report. This report helps organizations with compliance tracking, security analysis, and monitoring.

  • FTAPI SecuRooms: The new 'SecuRooms Report' provides admins with an overview of product usage. Learn more.
  • FTAPI SecuRooms: The status message in the upload center has been revised and now displays all relevant progress and error messages when uploading files. Learn more.
  • FTAPI Platform: The user report now includes an additional "Language" column. All existing users can now be sorted based on this information. Learn more.
  • FTAPI Platform: Users will now receive a notification if their two-factor authentication (2FA) via app has been reset by an admin. Users will be prompted to log in to re-enable 2FA via app.

Fixed

  • FTAPI Platform: Users accessing expired links (e.g., data room invitations) will now receive a meaningful error message again.
  • FTAPI Platform: Sorting in the admin user overview is working without restrictions again.
  • FTAPI SecuRooms: The responsive behavior of the application has been further optimized so that the navigation adjusts according to the browser zoom.
  • FTAPI SecuRooms: For users whose passwords were set by an admin, the data room release process has been improved. The email notification that users receive after a data room is released now directs them to the correct login page.
  • FTAPI SecuForms: The custom icon is now displayed again in the SecuForms administration if configured in the system settings (Administration > Appearance).
  • FTAPI SecuForms & SubmitBox: A submission can now be made without a file attachment. Requirement: The custom "File" field must be marked as optional. Learn more.

Security

  • The 'Brute Force Protection' security setting now also takes effect when no session ID is provided.

 

Update Information
FTAPI Cloud customers do not need to take any action; the update is performed automatically. Customers can find detailed information about the maintenance window at status.ftapi.com.
