FTAPI Version 4.40.0

Release notes for FTAPI version 4.40.0, covering new features, bug fixes, and security updates.

New

  • FTAPI SecuMails: The "Use new design" button in the browser allows users to switch to the new user interface for sending deliveries to test the improved and modern design. Learn more.
  • Administration: The new admin console is now available for SecuRooms, allowing you to centrally view all data rooms, manage access roles, and delete data rooms if necessary without requiring direct access to individual data rooms. Learn more.
  • Administration: In group management, permissions are now sorted by their associated products, which significantly improves the overall user experience.
  • FTAPI SecuRooms: Search results now highlight the corresponding file in the data room with color, which significantly improves the user experience.
  • FTAPI SecuRooms: All users with access to a data room can now see which user uploaded which file via the detail panel. This improves transparency and traceability of activities within the data room.
  • FTAPI SecuRooms: All users with access to a data room can now view the name of the data room creator and the names of all users with the "Owner" access role. This ensures greater transparency and makes it easier to track responsibilities within the data room.
  • FTAPI SecuRooms: In the data room view, the table header "Last modified" has been renamed to "Uploaded", and in the "My data" area, the table header "Last modified" has been renamed to "Created". These renames are intended to give users a better understanding of deletion deadlines.

Fixed

  • FTAPI SecuRooms: The issue where the list of access roles appeared behind the sharing dialog when sharing via the context menu and was inaccessible has been fixed.
  • FTAPI SecuRooms: Uploading to data rooms is now successful for users again when the group's storage quota is set to infinite (-1).
  • FTAPI Add-On "Double-Authenticated-Registration (DAR)": A clear error message with a hint is now displayed if no phone number is stored, to specifically point the user to the missing detail.
  • FTAPI SecuForms: When submitting a SecuForm with custom pages and custom fields, the correct order of fields is now displayed in the confirmation email.
  • FTAPI SecuForms: The SecuForms form now displays both the icon and title for process pages if both are configured. 

Security

  • Desktop Client: A notice regarding the product's end-of-life (October 31, 2024) is now included in the application, informing users early about the upcoming end of FTAPI support and availability. Learn more.

 

Update Information
FTAPI Cloud customers do not need to take any action; the update happens automatically. Customers can receive detailed information about the maintenance window via status.ftapi.com.
