FTAPI ProcessClient
Updated on 14.08.2026
Version 2.60
- New: anonymous usage statistics. After each process execution that processes data, the client sends an anonymous statistical data record to FTAPI. The function is active by default after the update and can be switched off.
- The start banner in the logfile now displays the version of the ProcessClient. This allows the running version to be read directly at the beginning of each logfile.
- If a route's user search accidentally refers to an entire form submission instead of a single field, it will no longer be sent as a username to the FTAPI server. The client skips the unusable entry and logs a warning that only names the affected property. Nothing changes for working configurations.
Version 2.59
- A configured HTTP proxy now applies to every connection to the FTAPI server, no longer just for the login and retrieval path. This fixes an error from 2.55: In networks that only reach the server via a proxy, downloads previously failed with a connection error, even though the route was registered. If you are using a proxy and are between 2.55 and 2.58, this update is strongly recommended.
Version 2.58
- SecuPass sharing no longer completely aborts if SecuPass data for a recipient is incomplete on the server. The recipient is skipped and logged.
Version 2.57
- Errors when registering a file upload now include the HTTP status. This allows distinguishing in the log whether a permission is missing (401/403) or the server has a problem (500).
Version 2.55
- FTPS is set to TLS 1.2. This exclusively affects FTPS. Your FTPS server must accept TLS 1.2. This resolves the previously sporadic connection interruptions during FTPS transfers.
- The client no longer stops processing when the hard drive is about 90 percent full. Previously, all routes stopped without a clear error message. If the disk truly fills up, the affected steps now report this as a distinct error.
- The temporary working folder is recreated if it was removed during operation, for example, by a disk cleanup. If this warning appears repeatedly, you should address the cause at the system level.
- Files with a "
"," in the name are processed reliably. Renaming incoming files as a workaround is no longer necessary. When exchanging access keys, no key data is logged in the debug log anymore.
Version 2.37
- Synchronization processes now offer enhanced handling, allowing specific actions to be performed upon successful synchronizations.
Version 2.36
- Synchronization processes now offer enhanced error handling, allowing specific actions to be performed in case of synchronization errors.
Version 2.35
- Additional context for processed files is provided by collecting information about parent folders.
Version 2.34
- Authentication for Gmail is now supported via Oauth 2.
